New features included a turret with commander's cupola with seven vision points, steel-rimmed wheels that were insulated by two rubber rings clamped between disc-shaped pressings, anti-aircraft machine gun ring, side pivoting hatch, loader's hatch with periscope, and smoke exhaust outlet located in the center of the turret.
